Unleash your “inner swimmer”

Unleash your “inner swimmer” in our indoor pool. Our pool’s dimensions are 13×19 feet and it measures 4 feet deep. That’s large enough for even the “Big Dogs” to enjoy. We use a minimal amount of chlorine, so it is very gentle to the skin and coat of our furry friends!

Swimming encourages the use of the whole body in an exercise that is fun and beneficial. It’s great for overall conditioning and cardiovascular fitness in healthy dogs. For dogs with joint pain or injury, swimming can ease aching muscles and improve flexibility. For our elderly pets, it can minimize the risks of weight bearing injuries and help control weight gain due to inactivity. We even have a ramp to help ease our elderly pets into and out of the pool. Whether you are looking for assisted or recreational swim and whether you are here for daycare, an overnight stay or just want to drop by, we can accommodate you. We offer discount packages for those with a real thirst for the water. Come and let your pet take a dip in the pool.

Depending on the size and temperament of our guests, we allow about 5 to 7 dogs to enjoy a recreational swim. Assisted swim times may be reserved throughout the day in 20 minute sessions, available when recreational swims are not in session. Towels are provided for our human guests to hide behind when their furry friends want to “shower” them during that post-swim water shake dance. Keep the towel handy to dry your pet off once they decided they’re done a shake, rattle and rolling!.

Hours

Drop by during one of our recreational swims and join the fun! By reservation, 20 minutes splash time, 10 minutes entry and exit. Available M-F 12 – 5:30

Please be aware that your dog(s) must “pass” a private swim to join any recreational swim session.

The Fine Print

Please check with us if you have any concerns about your dog’s interest or abilities to swim. Our knowledgeable staff understands and can discuss why some breeds are more suited to water activities than others. Almost all breed are capable of and enjoy swimming.

For recreational swims, we separate and schedule our guests by size and temperament to ensure their safety and enjoyment of the pool. We are happy to work with you so that your pet can participate in swimming, but we cannot accept dogs that are too aggressive or would be disruptive to our other guests.

Vaccination & Health Requirements

For the safety and health of all our guests, please provide proof, by up-to date written records, for the following vaccinations:

DPP (Distemper, Parvovirus and Parainfluenza): 1 or 3 year vaccine required
Bordetella: 6 months or 1 year vaccine required
Rabies: 1 or 3 year vaccine required

We do not accept home vaccination. Vaccines must be administered at least 48 hours before arrival under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian. We prefer your pet be vaccinated 10 days prior to check-in. Written proof is required prior to check-in for day-care, the hotel or drop-in pool guests. Thank you.

If your pet is over 6 months, we do require them to be spayed or neutered.

Please let Hobnob know of any special behavioral pattern, medication or diet needs of your dog.

In addition your pet must be healthy and be free from fleas, ticks and any communicable disease.
